VizuaLogic(R) Introduces Advantage(TM) Series
Corona, CA, 31 October -- VizuaLogic(R) is raising the bar on expectations within the mobile media market with their new Advantage(TM) Series of headrest monitors.
The Advantage Series features Infrared (IR) Technology and will be one of the first mobile video lines to offer a 9" monitor. The new 9" screen is 64% larger than the industry's standard 7" screen.
Consumers will notice many benefits when they purchase a system with Infrared Technology. One benefit is the easy-to-use, built-in wireless IR headphone transmitter with stereo input for maximum sound clarity. The IR system is also much easier to install than the old radio frequency (RF) systems.
"IR transmission is immune to most common types of interference, so passengers will have a crisper and clearer signal than ever before," said Tim Frech, VizuaLogic Product Manager. "IR technology provides better reception than an RF transmission. This is especially true for use in close proximity, like when riding in a vehicle."
The Advantage Series also features a wireless remote control, an IR sensor input for a DVD player, and a full menu of onscreen controls.
"We are very excited about the new Advantage Series. The 9" monitor and IR technology are great selling points. And as with all VizuaLogic products, the picture is incredible," said Warren Moran, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, TMI Products.
Like other VizuaLogic products, the Advantage Series requires no cutting. By offering a pre-built headrest, dealers will have less time involved in the installation of the headrest. Most installations can be performed in under an hour.
VizuaLogic features PerfectMatch(TM) styling. This means that the screen is pre-installed in a headrest that looks and feels like original equipment. And, since the monitor is pre-installed, the vehicle's original factory headrests remain unharmed and can be replaced if the vehicle is being leased.
The new Advantage Series will be available for all of the full-sized GM SUVs in early 2004 with more vehicle models to come soon.
