Surface Tech Inc. Continues Rapid Expansion

IRVINE, Calif.--Oct. 2, 20039, 2003--Surface Tech Inc. (Pink Sheets:SFCI) announced today that it has added 14 new cities where it now provides alloy wheel repair. Consequently, SFCI now has 125 licensed technicians using the company's process in 35 states in the United States and internationally in Canada and Australia. This patented process is the "Method for Refurbishing Alloy Wheels" (U.S. Patent #6,347,444 -- 2/19/02).

The 14 new locations are: Albany, N.Y.; Bentonville, Ark.; Boise, Idaho; Calgary, Alberta, Canada; Des Moines, Iowa; Harrisburg, Penn.; Hartford, Conn.; Joplin/Springfield, Mo.; Miami, Fla.; Morris County, N.J.; New Haven, Conn.; Sacramento, Calif.; Somerset County, N.J.; and Topeka, Kan.

Surface Tech is the only company that has a patented method to resurface alloy wheels without removing them from the car. The company's licensed technicians provide low-cost solutions to high-priced problems for over 4,000 automobile dealerships, auto auctions, and car rental agencies. Surface Tech started licensing its process in 1998. With its employees and other licensed technicians, the process has recorded gross billings of over $1 million in 2001 and $2 million in 2002, which is expected to generate gross billings of over $7 million this year, with plans to double in 2004.
