Cadpo and Cosworth Racing Expand Relationship Through Training and i.get.it eLearning Program
WESTMINSTER, Colo., Oct. 29, 2003 -- Cadpo announces an expanded training relationship with Cosworth Racing Limited. Cosworth Racing designs, develops and produces racing engines for a variety of motorsport activities. Cadpo provides the MCAD/PLM industry standard in vendor neutral eLearning, training and engineering services.
The agreement expands Cosworth's relationship with Cadpo to aid in the implementation of a model-based manufacturing and production environment. Cosworth plans to leverage Cadpo's Closed Loop Learning Program to maximize the productivity of its Unigraphics CAD/CAM system. The intention is to use i.get.it to drive the program with an initial Skills Gap Analysis to measure core competencies, customize learning path development and maximize design and manufacturing effectiveness.
"Cadpo continues to be our preferred partner for CAD/CAM related educational services due to its people and quality of training material," says Ken Walker, Principal Engineer, CADCAM Systems, Cosworth Racing. "Instructor- led training complemented with Cadpo's i.get.it online learning will allow us to address our real design and manufacturing issues. In addition, i.get.it assessment functionality will allow us to see exactly where our team is and what path is required to bring us to a desired skill level."
"We are very excited about Cosworth's continued commitment to our services and products," says Jonathan Mangan, managing director, Cadpo Europe. "With the pressure to reduce lead times and increase quality to remain at the forefront of their industry, accelerated learning and measurement tools are critical."
