Superior Industries Begins Shipping Wheels for 2004 Toyota Solara Coupe

VAN NUYS, Calif.--Oct. 2, 20038, 2003--Superior Industries International, Inc. announced today that it has begun shipping a new 17-inch cast aluminum wheel to Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky for the 2004 model year Solara coupe.

"This new wheel for the 2004 Solara is our first for this strong-selling model, and represents the latest expansion of our growing relationship with Toyota. The contract is also the latest in a series of significant new and replacement program wins for Superior with a number of major OEM customers," said President and Chief Operating Officer Steve Borick. "Our success is a total team effort that reflects the investments that we have made and will continue to make to expand and improve Superior's global operating platform, reduce costs, and enhance our efficiency and productivity."

The new 17-inch wheel, which is being manufactured at Superior's facility in Johnson City, Tennessee, is standard equipment on the Solara SE Sport and SLE V6 models and optional on the SE V6 model.
