Cab Riders Will 'Buckle Up' in 32 Languages!
WHEN Tuesday, October 28, 10:00 a.m. WHERE Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago 345 East Superior East Driveway and Main Floor Lobby WHAT -- Unveiling of colorful, multi-language "Buckle Up" taxi seat belt sticker campaign designed to promote passenger safety awareness. Co-sponsors are the City of Chicago and the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC). -- A Chicago Carriage Cab Co. taxi featuring passengers wearing seat belts sporting the proposed new stickers will be parked in the driveway. -- Stickers salute Chicago's diversity and international visitors and will feature literal translations and national flags for 32 languages, including Greek, Dutch, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Norwegian and Mandarin Chinese.
