Fujitsu to learn from Toyota's production style

TOKYO October 26, 2003; Fujitsu Ltd plans to have Toyota Motor Corp teach the automaker's production style at Fujitsu's Oyama Plant, the computer giant's main communications equipment factory, and at its subsidiary Fujitsu IT Products Ltd, Fujitsu officials said Saturday.

Fujitsu, which suffered a group net loss of more than 500 billion yen for the two years through the end of March 2003, recently set up a production promotion headquarters with its main feature to learn from Toyota's production and quality control measures.
