Bobby Sak Tearing Up The Island at the Puerto Rico Grand Prix
Second quickest in round two practice

San Juan PR – Oct. 24, 2003 – After two practice sessions at the 2003
Trans-Am Series Motorock Tour for the BFGoodrich Cup Puerto Rico Grand
Prix, Bobby Sak is right on schedule with the #10 Revolution
Motorsports Corvette. Using the morning session to feel out the track,
Bobby dropped the hammer in round two with a 1:06.608.

“This is exactly the car I wanted for this race,” commented Bobby. “The
crew was spot on. The handling was great and the gearing was just about
right. The track was very deceiving… I think we all thought we’d see
much higher speeds… but I think we’re going to have to see the bite
come up before that will happen. Either way, my car is good.”

“This has been a great week so far,” Sak added. First time events are
usually a handful for everyone, so I can only imagine what Jorge Diaz
Sr. is going through. But, so far, things are running on time and
pretty smooth. The people are extremely courteous and helpful. And, the
local traffic is pretty good practice!!!”

Sak trails local favorite, Jorge Diaz Jr. by 27 points in the chase for
the Rookie of the Year title. Jorge will need to finish 17th or better
to clinch it.

Don Sak [#2 Revolution Motorsports Corvette] suffered cylinder failure
in the early going of the first round practice.

“It’s always a bit unnerving to have the first session go wrong,”
commented Don. “I was taking it easy trying to just shake things down
and get to know the track. Unfortunately the engine decided to hiccup
and our session was cut short.”

“The second session was good,” Sak continued. “However, now I’m playing
catch-up trying to get the things done that I wanted to do in the first
session. I like to find my brake points and just genuinely find a point
where I’m comfortable in the car. We were 12th fastest in the second
round and I’m confident we can get more out of it for qualifying. We’re
in good shape.”

Revolution Motorsports will field the #2 and #10 Revolution Motorsports
