MTS Names Giese to Lead European Test Business
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., Oct. 24, 2003 -- MTS Systems Corporation today announced the appointment of Marc Giese as vice president of its European Test equipment business headquartered in Berlin, Germany. Reporting to Laura Hamilton, senior vice president, MTS Test division, Giese succeeds Werner Ongyert who retired after 27 years of service.

Giese joins MTS from Kennametal, Inc., a worldwide industrial tooling solutions supplier where most recently he was Director of European Marketing and Sales. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in mechanical engineering and a Master's Degree in marketing.
