Volvo Franchisee Taps NatCom Marketing; Initiative to Include Launch of South Florida Stores
MIAMI, Oct. 22, 2003 -- NatCom Marketing, a Miami-based full service communications agency specializing in diversity marketing, announced that it has been awarded the contract to launch the Volvo equipment rental business in South Florida for World Rental Sales, (WRS) the South Florida Volvo franchisee.
NatCom will develop marketing and media materials as well as an advertising and promotional campaign for 5 company stores. The first store is slated to open November 1, 2003 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The other 4 stores will be opened throughout 2004 in Broward and Miami-Dade counties.
The initial phase of the campaign will include print, radio and outdoor with direct mail and a sales promotion campaign to follow.

WRS is the South Florida franchisee for Volvo Construction Equipment Rents. WRS will operate a fleet of construction equipment that will be available for rent and sale to local contractors and consumers. In addition to the Volvo stores, WRS will also develop a Latin America distribution model for Volvo equipment.
