Winnebago Industries Receives National Annual Report Award

FOREST CITY, Iowa--Oct. 2, 20030, 2003--Winnebago Industries, Inc. has been chosen as a national recipient of the 2003 Nicholson Awards competition conducted by National Association of Investors Corporation (NAIC) for the Company's 2002 annual report. Winnebago Industries' annual report was chosen as one of five national award recipients for this prestigious award. The other national recipients include: Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc., Leggett & Platt Incorporated, McCormick & Company, Incorporated and PPG Industries, Inc.

The Nicholson Awards judges rate the annual reports using four criteria: financial highlights of the past two years, financial summary, written content and design. Award winners were grouped in 84 divisions with five national awards, three international awards and 123 companies receiving industry division awards.

"This award means a great deal to us, particularly since it is coming from a shareholder-based organization," said Sheila Davis, Winnebago Industries' Public Relations/Investor Relations Manager. "We strive each year to create an annual report that is easy for our shareholders to read and understand while making the design visually attractive.
