Insurance Company Recruiting for Emerging Leaders At UVA Minority Career Fair Oct. 28

WASHINGTON, Oct. 20, 2003 -- GEICO is bringing its Emerging Leaders Program to the attention of Virginia college students across the state when they convene at the University of Virginia, October 28, for the 20th annual Minority Career Fair.

Named as one of the top three employers for entry-level employees by collegegrad.com, GEICO will highlight its fast track management program with business and insurance majors. GEICO expects to fill some 150 select spots in the company throughout the 2003-2004 school year.

If chosen for the GEICO program, students will rotate through leadership positions in its business and financial divisions for two years and can expect to hold a management position at the end of the rotation.

GEICO will also be recruiting for the company's sales, service, claims, actuarial, finance and underwriting positions in its 11 major locations around the country: Washington, D.C.; Virginia Beach and Fredericksburg, Va.; Tucson, Ariz.; Honolulu, Hawaii; San Diego, Calif.; Lakeland, Fla.; Macon, Ga.; Dallas, Texas; Woodbury, N.Y.; Coralville, Ia.
