RACE OF CHAMPIONS TITLES SETTLED; RACERS LOOK TO SATURDAY TO SCORE BIG WINS AND TRIP TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA 
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - In the final results of the NHRA Southeast Division Race of Champions, Jamie Alexander, Jason Rollins, Leon Robertson, Mike Lakoskey and W.G. Lankas all scored wins in their respective categories. 
In the Super Pro final, Mobile Dragway racer, Jamie Alexander of Grand Bay, Ala., took out Northwest Tennessee Motorsports Park's Bob Fine III of Dover, Tenn. In the final round match-up, both drives were stellar on the tree with .001 and .003 reaction times, with the slight advantage and win going to Alexander.  
Scoring the victory in Pro, behind the wheel of his '71 Nova was hometown racer, Jason Rollins of Gainesville. Rollins took out the '79 Malibu of Montgomery Motorsports Park representative, Jared Pennington of Fultondale, Ala. 
Racing for nearby JAX Raceways, Mike Lakoskey of Orange Park, Fla., took out Moroso Motorsports Park racer Ralph Medrano, to claim the crown in the Super Pro Bike category.
	The Sportsman Race of Champions victory went to defending NHRA Southeast Division Champion Leon Robertson of Nashville, Tenn. In the final, Robertson, racing for Music City Raceway, eliminated Atlanta Dragway's Mel Abney of Cumming, Ga. 
In the High School class, Coastal Plains Dragway racer W.G. Lankas of Sneads Perry, N.C., took out Jesse Young of Danielsville, Ga., running for Atlanta Dragway.
	Saturday's action will feature the highly regarded individual championships in Super Pro, Pro, Pro Bike and Sportsman. The victors in those categories will qualify to compete at the NHRA Summit Racing Series National Finals, to be held at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals next month at Pomona Raceway in Pomona, Calif. There they will complete for a "winner-takes-all" $5000 purse.
