Teleos MAKE Study Identifies Asia's Leading Knowledge-Driven Companies
SEOUL, Korea--Oct. 1, 20035, 2003--Asian companies dedicated to growth through innovation and knowledge management are outperforming their competitors across a range of financial and non-financial metrics, reports Teleos in the "2003 Asian Most Admired Knowledge Enterprises (MAKE) Study."The 2003 Asian MAKE Winners were recognized in front of 1,000 Asian business executives during a special Awards Ceremony at the 4th World Knowledge Forum in Seoul, Korea. The 2003 Asian MAKE Winners were chosen by a panel of Asian senior executives and leading knowledge management experts. Only organizations founded and headquartered in Asia were eligible for this study.
The expert panel rated organizations against the MAKE framework of eight key knowledge performance dimensions which are the visible drivers of competitive advantage. The 2003 Asian MAKE Winners have been recognized as best practice in:

-- maximizing corporate intellectual capital

-- managing customer knowledge

For the second year in a row, Toyota Motor was the top Asian MAKE Winner. Although Japan leads the list with 9 winners, Korea and India are rapidly gaining ground with 3 winners each.
