Von Dutch Introduces a Signature Custom Classic Motorcycle
'Kustomize Your Life'(TM) With Von Dutch Kustom Cycles
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif., Oct. 14 -- In the 50's, 'T' Shirts and Jeans became a fashion statement throughout America. As a result, Hollywood introduced James Dean and Marlon Brando. They became know as American rebels, but Kenneth Howard (Von Dutch) was the father of the "Kustom Kulture," and the key influence behind the Hot Rod and biker movement in the '50's. Rebelling youth followed the style and adopted the look into their dress code. For young Americans this was the birth of "cool." Behind the scenes Von Dutch lived an intense life, a true rebel of society's standard. To this day, stories of Von Dutch's art, style, and humor live on.
The Von Dutch brand identity is all about nostalgic freedom, style, sex, power and motion. Von Dutch Kustom Cycles reacquaints the brand to its hot rod roots through the launch of highly styled and engineered quality custom motorcycles.
Von Dutch Kustom Cycle's skilled team offers the market custom motorcycles by creating the seamless integration between our brand's design and the engineering of every custom-made motorcycle. Our distinctive motorcycle is a lifestyle extension of the designer label's brand identity and culture.
The configuration of our designer motorcycle is the result of extensive product development by top industry design talents. Innovative styles, first created in their imagination, are transferred into production models using disciplined manufacturing techniques. The final result is highly unique motorcycles that feature a custom frame and the latest innovative industry technologies such as high powered engines with digital programmable ignition and Brembo braking systems.
In September 2003, the company's first motorcycle was an instant success at the Magic Show in Las Vegas. It is a woman's bike named the "Dutch Angel" and can be seen on the Von Dutch website at the following link: http://www.vondutch.com/html/default.aspx?HTML=/html/motorcycle.html
The men's bike prototype is undergoing final touches and will be completed in early December 2003. While details are under wraps suffice it to say that the design and performance will be "off the charts"!
The Company and its management are firmly committed to building the finest custom motorcycles available with the highest levels of styling, performance, and quality to help you Kustomize your Life! The motorcycles will be on display to the public at Jay Leno's Love Ride on November 9th in LA and at our Miami Beach Von Dutch store opening on November 15, 2003.
