Top-15 Finish for Coors Light Dodge at Lowe's Motor Speedway

CONCORD, N.C. (October 11, 2003) --- Sterling Marlin fought his way from
the 33rd position to finish 15th in the UAW-GM Quality 500 at Lowe's
Motor Speedway.

Marlin started the race 33rd and worked his way into the top-20 by lap
81 despite the car being loose. The Coors Light crew made adjustments
during pit stops and the car continued to run in the top-20 for the next
92 laps. Marlin restarted 15th on lap 173 and was able to run in the
top-15 for the rest of the night, at one point running as high as ninth,
and eventually finishing in the 15th position.

"The car was loose tonight," Marlin said. "The Coors Light crew worked
really hard tonight making adjustments when they needed to be made. We
didn't qualify as well as we would have liked but we worked our way
through the field and we're happy with our top-15 finish."

Marlin maintained his 19th position in the Winston Cup championship
points. Ganassi teammates Jamie McMurray and Casey Mears finished 7th
and 42nd respectively.

The Coors Light team races at Martinsville Speedway next weekend. The
race will be broadcast live on NBC television and MRN radio on Sunday,
October 19th at 12:30 pm EST.
