FrameMaker: Understanding Its Uses and Applications

PLYMOUTH, Mich.--Oct. 9, 2003--The Southeastern Michigan Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (STC/SM) offers its October program, "FrameMaker: Understanding Its Uses and Applications" on Thursday, October 23, 2003, at AAA Headquarter, One Auto Club Drive, Dearborn, Michigan, 48126. This program will feature Ms. Kay Ethier of Bright Path Solutions, an Adobe Network Solutions partner, focusing on the abilities of FrameMaker for large and medium-sized documentation projects. Ms. Ethier will also focus on common issues that FrameMaker users have and how to overcome them, while offering some slick techniques in the trade.

Networking will begin at 6:30 P.M. and the program presentation will begin at 7:00 P.M. The cost to attend the program is $15 for STC members, $20 for nonmembers, and $10 for STC/SM students. The deadline for registration is noon on Tuesday, October 21, 2003. Please note that due to strict security at AAA, all those wishing to participate must pre-register by the deadline. A roster will be given to AAA security personnel, and only those that have pre-registered will be admitted.

The Society for Technical Communication is the world's largest professional organization in its field, with almost 20,000 members in 144 chapters worldwide. The association is composed of technical communicators, including technical writers, editors, illustrators, Web designers, technical translators, and managers and teachers of technical communication.
