AAA Minnesota/Iowa Announces New Iowa Board Member
BURNSVILLE, Minn., Oct. 9, 2003 -- AAA Minnesota/Iowa announced today it has added another member to its board of directors. Debra Johnson is president of Vodaci Technologies, a professional communication services firm headquartered in Des Moines. Her appointment expands AAA's board of director membership to nine members, five of which are from Minnesota and four of which are from Iowa.
"We are excited to have someone of Debra's qualifications join our board of directors," said Jamie Zanios, chairman of the board for AAA Minnesota/Iowa. "As president of Vodaci Technologies, her strategy has been to deliver great value and superior service to her clients, which of course fits in well with our goals as a not-for-profit membership organization."

Debra Johnson brings a wealth of Iowan knowledge and history to AAA's board of directors. She grew up in Des Moines and continued her residence in the state while earning her undergraduate degree from Upper Iowa University in accounting and business, and her graduate degree from Drake University in taxation. She has also served on the boards of numerous civic and community organizations including the DMACC Foundation, Des Moines Metro Opera, the Salisbury House Foundation and the City of Urbandale Planning and Zoning Commission. She is a member of the Iowa Society of CPAs, the American Institute of CPAs and the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute.
AAA Minnesota/Iowa, which includes more than 700,000 members, offers automotive, travel, insurance and financial services. It is part of The Auto Club Group (ACG), the largest affiliation of AAA clubs in the Midwest, with 4.1 million members in eight states. ACG clubs belong to the national AAA federation, a not-for-profit organization, with more than 45 million members in the United States and Canada.
