UGN, Inc. Names Shinohara Director Sales and Marketing
CHICAGO, Oct. 9, 2003 -- UGN, Inc., a supplier of acoustic, interior trim and thermal management products to the automotive industry, has named Kenta Shinohara director of sales and marketing. In his new position, Shinohara will align long-term strategic sales and marketing initiatives with industry trends, competitor's activities and customer needs.
Shinohara joined UGN in 2000 as an account manager for the company's Toyota business and most recently served as the director of program management. In this position, Shinohara created and developed a new program management department. He also coordinated worldwide vehicle launch activities for various customers. Prior to joining UGN, he held various positions at Collins & Aikman, and Douglas & Lomason.

Shinohara is conversant in the Japanese language, and a member of the Program Management Institute. He holds a bachelor's of science degree from Michigan State University.
