URS Wins Marine Corps Contract Potentially Valued at $33 Million
SAN FRANCISCO--Oct. 8, 2003--URS Corporation today announced that the Company's EG&G Division has won a contract to provide support services for the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle Program. Under the terms of the contract, EG&G will provide engineering, logistics, acquisition and management services to support the production of the new USMC combat vehicle. The cost-plus-fixed-fee contract has a one-year term with four additional one-year option periods. Estimated revenue to URS is approximately $5 million for the first year of the contract and approximately $33 million for the full five years.Commenting on the contract win, Martin M.
