Maritz Research Names New President; Brereton Accepts Post
ST. LOUIS--Oct. 7, 2003--Maritz Research, the market research business of Maritz Inc., has named Michael Brereton, age 43, as president, following the appointment of Tim Rogers to the position of president for the Maritz Automotive Group. With over 20 years of marketing research and management experience, Brereton has worked in key aspects of the company's operations including business development, operations and management."Michael is an excellent leader who is passionate about the research industry," said Steve Maritz, president of Maritz. Past roles for Brereton at Maritz Research include account manager, division manager and group vice president. Most recently, he was the North American managing director, responsible for all Maritz Research business sectors in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Brereton received his master's degree in business administration from Bowling Green State University after completing his bachelor of science with the General Motors Institute in Flint, Mich.
