Exide Technologies To Launch New Products at Equip'auto 2003

PRINCETON, N.J., Oct. 7, 2003 -- Exide Technologies, a global leader in stored electrical-energy solutions, will have a strong, unified presence later this month at the Equip'Auto 2003 automotive show in Paris, one of the largest automotive shows in Europe.

Under the theme One Team, One Vision, the Exide team will exhibit a broad array of Exide products and brands available throughout Europe. Exide also will unveil three new products at the show: the Exide X-treme, Tudor Tech Tronic, and Fulmen Prestige, and two charging systems, the EBC 5A waterproof charger and the Pro 6 "Always Factory Fresh" maintenance charger. In addition, a number of innovative sales tools and merchandising programs designed to help customers increase battery sales will be featured. A VIP customer reception will take place on the evening of October 16th.

The futuristic exhibit, located in hall 5, row F, space #29, will feature products under Exide's most prominent European brand names Exide, Fulmen, Tudor, Deta and Centra. Company and product press materials will be available at the Exide exhibit and in the Equip'Auto press room.
