Pyle Wins Pep Boys 300 at Salem

Salem, Ind. (October 4, 2003) – Series veteran Robbie Pyle won the Pep Boys
300 presented by Greased Lightning Orange Blast at Salem Speedway, the
16th event of the 2003 ASA Racing Series season. Pyle grabbed the first position
on the 217th circuit, making the race-winning pass on leader Todd Kluever. This is
the second victory of the 2003 season for Pyle and third of his career.

1995 ASA Rookie of the Year Rick Beebe finished second with $50,000 Rookie
point’s  leader  Reed  Sorenson  crossing  the  line  in  third  position.  Florida’s  Mike
Cope  finished  in  fourth  with  Rich  Loch  filling  out  the  top-five  finishers.  Toby
Porter  was  sixth  with  Todd  Kluever,  Bryan  Reffner,  Gary  St.  Amant  and  Greg
Stewart rounding out the top 10.
