President of American Honda Visits World Record Holder, Rick Case Honda

DAVIE, Fla.--Oct. 2, 2003--Rick Case Honda at I-75 and Griffin Road set a new World Sales Record in August, selling 1,222 new Honda cars and trucks in a single month. Rick Case Honda far surpassed the sales record of 1,032 they set in August 2002.

Steve Gall, Honda General Manager, stated, "This accomplishment could not have been achieved without the dedicated team of professionals that are part of our Rick Case family! Our continued determination to treat every customer as we would our best friend makes the difference!"

Mr. Koichi Kondo, President of American Honda Motor Company, will be at Rick Case Honda Powerhouse on Sunday, October 5, 2003 at 1pm where he will join Rick Case in accepting proclamations from both the Town of Davie and the City of Weston honoring Rick Case Honda for their contribution to these communities and for their world record. Vice Mayor Susan Starkey of the Town of Davie and Mayor Eric M. Hersh of the City of Weston will be on hand for the presentation.

Rick Case Honda opened in March 2002 and broke the Honda sales record its very first month. "We are Florida's only JD Power and Associates Certified Honda Dealer and the only dealer in the world that offers a customer Rewards program, which is similar to those of the airlines," explains Rick Case.

In August of 2002, Rick Case opened the first full line Honda Powerhouse dealership in America, selling all the other products that Honda makes - motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, personal watercraft, generators, outboard motors, lawnmowers, water pumps and more, all at the corner of I-75 and Griffin Road. The Rick Case Honda Powerhouse also set a new world record in August, selling over 400 new units. On Sunday, October 5, 2003 at 1pm, American Honda's President, Mr. Kondo, will be drawing the name of the first customer who will have the opportunity to purchase the exciting new, limited edition 2004 Honda RUNE, a motorcycle unlike anything you have ever seen; it's an icon. More than 65 people have registered for an opportunity to buy the RUNE.
