ARC Wireless Solutions Introduces New Omni-Directional Dual Band Base Station Antenna

WHEAT RIDGE, Colo.--Oct. 2, 2003--ARC Wireless Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB:ARCS) today announced that its Wireless Communications Solutions Division has introduced a new dual band omni-directional base station antenna for use in locations where zoning regulations restrict size and the number of antennas that can be used on a single cell site. The new patent pending dual band omni antenna operates in both the commercial Cellular and PCS frequency bands. This antenna, the Omni-DualBASE(TM), is now in production and is the latest addition to our DualBASE(TM) product line.

"With zoning becoming more of an issue in the deployment of additional base station antennas combined with the increasing need of carriers for more frequency bandwidth, this is an ideal antenna solution for dual band micro base stations," stated Steven C. Olson, Chief Technology Officer. "The dual band feature of this antenna provides a single compact antenna solution for carriers who are either upgrading single band base station sites to both Cellular and PCS bands or for new dual band sites where only one antenna is desired," added Mr. Olson.

Randall P. Marx, Chief Executive Officer stated: "Our unique Omni-DualBASE(TM) antenna further confirms ARC Wireless' development proficiency as well as our capability to provide crucial product solutions for our wireless customers."

About the new Omni-DualBASE(TM) antenna product:

ARC's new Omni-DualBASE(TM) antenna product, the DLA-VR-07-360-0N, has a gain of 5.1 dBi and 7.1 dBi in the 824 to 896 MHz and 1850 to 1990 MHz bands, respectively. It generates an omni direction radiation pattern which is ideal for micro base station applications. The compactness of this antenna is achieved by its shared aperture design approach which provides maximum dual band gain in a small antenna package.
