- Suzuki of Traverse City Dealership Will Be a Pilot Facility for $200-Million, 300-Dealership 'Suzuki Square' Network Featuring Open-Air Marketplace Design and Lifestyle Product Displays - FOR FRIDAY, Oct. 3, 2003 WHAT: American Suzuki has chosen Suzuki of Traverse City as one of three pilot facilities for a $200-million national network of next-generation automotive dealerships designed to attract buyers with such innovative features as an open-air marketplace design, bold visual styling and themed interior and exterior displays showing how Suzuki vehicles fit customer lifestyles. Suzuki of Traverse City will be used as a pilot facility for more than 300 "Suzuki Square" dealerships nationwide -- a new shopper-friendly concept in dealership design that attempts to take the pressure out of shopping for and buying a new car.
