Green Car Marketing & Communications Announces New VP, Midwest Office
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif., Oct. 2, 2003 -- Green Car Marketing & Communications has announced strategic staffing changes including the appointment of Todd Kaho as vice president of the firm, extending the company's reach with an additional office in Ohio. This office, headed by Kaho, affords Green Car Marketing & Communications easier access to clients in Detroit and other Midwestern states.

"With a diverse automotive background spanning nearly 25 years, he offers the company considerable resources in the areas of marketing, communications, and special events strategy and implementation."
Kaho's experience as an automotive magazine owner, publisher, and editor also allows him to provide an insider's expertise in the area of media relations. His public relations and marketing support experience encompasses such accounts as Ford Motor Company, American Honda, J. Walter Thompson, Specialty Equipment Market Association, Tenneco Automotive, Design Automotive Group, and others.
Another strategic addition to the Green Car team is Drew Hardin, who brings 23 years of communications expertise to bear. A former editor of Hot Rod, Sport Truck, and 4 Wheel & Off Road magazines, Hardin is intimately aware of the inner workings of the automotive industry and magazine publishing. He was editorial director of virtually every title in the Petersen Automotive Performance Group during part of his 14 year tenure at the former Petersen Publishing Company, now Primedia.
Hardin has been a consultant to numerous automotive clients, worked on many broadcast projects, and has helped coordinate advertising and promotional activities for diverse high-profile projects, including the 50th Anniversary of Hot Rod Magazine. Hardin's event experience includes his instrumental role in the launch of the very successful and continuing Hot Rod Power Tour.
In additional staffing changes, former GCMC employees Tom Fulks and Michael Coates are no longer employed by the company and are pursuing other activities.
