Dover Corp. Acquires Warn Industries

CHICAGO October 1, 2003; Reuters reported that Dover Corp.a maker of ink-jet printers, electronic components and garbage trucks, said Wednesday it has acquired Warn Industries Inc. in a $325 million cash deal.

Warn, a privately held maker of vehicle winches and hub locks, has annual sales of more than $150 million. The Portland, Oregon-based company also makes automotive powertrains for vehicles including Ford Motor Co.'s F-150 pickups.
