Goodyear Announces Third Quarter 2003 Earnings Release, Conference Call

AKRON, Ohio, Sept. 30 -- The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company will report third quarter 2003 financial results on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2003, to be followed by an investor conference call at 10:00 a.m. EDT.

Participating in the conference call will be Robert J. Keegan, chairman and chief executive officer; and Robert W. Tieken, executive vice president and chief financial officer. They will review Goodyear's third quarter results.
