Toyota to Award $10,000 American Express Branded Gift Cards in Multi-Million Dollar Fall Parts & Service Promotion

TORRANCE, Calif., Sept. 30 -- Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. announced today the October 1st launch of a multi-million dollar parts and service promotion themed "Get This Feeling". Consumers will be eligible to win one of 12 $10,000 American Express branded gift cards, or one of 1000 American Express branded gift cards worth $100.

Running from October 1st through the 31st, the campaign is backed by a multi-million dollar national radio campaign as well as local traffic sponsorships in metro markets nationwide. Regional and dealer service offers will also be advertised in six million direct mail pieces and on www.toyota.com/owners .

The "Get This Feeling" promotion is expected to boost October parts and service sales. Toyota's first sweepstakes promotion conducted in October 2002 resulted in the highest parts and service sales for any October in the company's history.

"Our goal is to encourage people to get their Toyota vehicles ready for winter driving and long holiday driving trips," said Dave Camden, TMS vice president, dealer operations -- Toyota Customer Services. "We're especially interested in attracting customers who don't usually service at their local Toyota dealership. We want them to see for themselves that dealership service is the best value."

Dealers can register online and view program updates, promotion news and post-promotion results, as well as download direct mail and print ad templates and order additional dealer display materials.

"These bi-annual promotions have become an integral part of our strategy to cultivate customer relationships and build loyalty through parts and service," said Camden.

Long Beach, California, based Creative Productions is handling all creative, online and program management, while Saatchi & Saatchi Los Angeles is handling the media buy.
