Monaco Coach Corporation Announces Property Sale
COBURG, Ore., Sept. 29 -- Monaco Coach Corporation announced the sale of investment property in Naples, Florida. The transaction closed Thursday, September 25, 2003. The undeveloped Naples property was acquired by the company as part of its acquisition of three Outdoor Resorts of America locations: Naples, Florida; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Indio, California. Net proceeds of the sale have reduced Monaco Coach Corporation's term debt by approximately $6.5 million. Due to acquisition accounting rules, no gain will be reported from the Naples property sale.

Monaco Coach Corporation's initial investment in the properties totaled approximately $30.8 million. The remaining Las Vegas and Indio resort locations combined include 388 developed lots. Of these, 103 have already sold. Including the sale of the Naples property and lot sales in Las Vegas and Indio, the company's remaining investment is approximately $19 million.
