Bobby Sak Qualifies 5th for the Motorock Miami 100
Don Sak will start 9th

Miami, Sept. 27, 2003 – The Trans-Am Series Motorock Tour for the
BFGoodrich Tires Cup will start an 18 car grid for Sunday’s ‘Battle by
the Beach.’ Bobby Sak [#10 Revolution Motorsports Corvette] will occupy
the inside spot on row three while teammate Don Sak [#2 Revolution
Motorsports / Trenton Forging Corvette] will start two rows back.

“The car was pretty close this morning,” said Bobby. “I think we have a
few teaks to do and we’ll be right there. The first six cars are all
running pretty close. A cool head will really pay off. We’ve got 87
laps to sort this thing out, so there’s no reason to try anything
heroic.”

“Traffic is going to play a big part,” added Bobby. “Hopefully, we
won’t see a lot of cautions, but that’s something we’re going to
consider as part of our race strategy. The track configuration requires
you to think of the big picture. It’s going to feel like a long race.
I’ll be happy to run a good pace… keep the front runners in sight and
be in position to make a run at the end.”

Don Sak was equally pleased with his day and the team’s efforts.

“I feel pretty good starting in 9th,” the senior Sak remarked. “The car
is great. I’ve got one of the best crews in the paddock. They have been
able to set the car up for me and bring me up to speed without missing
a beat. I really appreciate their efforts.”

“I’m taking a queue from Bobby regarding strategy,” he continued. “The
plan is to be patient, run a steady pace and be around for the finish.
Working traffic is going make a big difference in where and ‘if’ you
finish. That’s my goal today. If I can get up near the top five, it’ll
be a good day. If I can beat Bobby…. It’ll be a GREAT day.”

The father and son duo will be fielding the #2 and #10 Revolution
Motorsports Corvettes as part of the Motorock Miami 100. The Trans-Am
event will take place on the streets of Miami Friday. September 26,
through the 28th. The race will air on SPEED October 10 at 9pm EST.

Revolution Motorsports in association with Trenton Forging competes as
part of the MotoRock Trans-Am Tour for the BF Goodrich Tires Cup. All
events are nationally televised on SPEED. The Trans-Am Series is the
oldest form of American sports car racing.
