NHRA Summit Racing Series Finals-Friday Results from Cecil County Dragway

Race of Champion Winners Crowned at Summit Finals at Cecil County
	RISING SUN, Md. - In the final results of the NHRA Northeast Division RBS Trailer Sales Race of Champions, Jim Nedo, Jeff Pasquariello Jr., Crystlyn Guererri and Barry Stephens all scored wins in their respective categories.  
	Capturing the Super Pro win for Island Dragway was Jim Nedo of Long Valley, N.J. In the final, Nedo defeated 75-80 Dragway representative Scott Bodmer of Beallsville, Md.  
In Heavy, Old Bridge Township Raceway Park representative Jeff Pasquariello Jr., of Totowa, N.J., defeated Butch Weinreich of Jarretsville, Md., representing host track Cecil County Dragway.  
Crystlyn Guererri of Waterloo, N.J., scored the win in Street over U.S. 13 Dragway representative Bruce Alexander of Delmar, Md. Guererri earned her spot in the 14 driver Race of Champions, by beating out her brother John in the Spencer Speedway points, as well as her mother Diane, who finished third in points.  
Claiming a second win for Island Dragway was two-time Race of Champions winner Barry Stephens Sr., of Hamburg, N.J. In the final, Stephens defeated 75-80 Dragway racer Kermit Garnett III of Mt. Airy, Md. 
Saturday's action will feature the highly regarded individual championships in Super, Heavy, Bike and Street, as well as the coveted Team Championship, won last year by Cecil County Dragway.  The winner of each of the individual race categories tomorrow are qualified for a trip to Pomona, Calif., to compete at the Summit Racing Series National Finals, to be held at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals at Pomona Raceway. There the drivers will complete for a "winner-takes-all" $5000 purse and the Summit Racing Series National Championship.
Saturday will also feature the High School Eliminator Challenge presented by Luzerne County Community College.  Open to competitors currently enrolled in High School, or 2003 graduates, the High School Eliminator Challenge is a no-electronics eliminator. The winner of the eliminator will receive a $1000 U.S. Savings Bond, champions jacket and a trophy, all to be presented at the NHRA Northeast Division Championship Banquet in January of 2004.
