IN THIS AFTERNOON¹S PRACTICE SESSION WITH A TIME OF 54:412.

NOTE 1 ­ The Motorock Miami 100 marks Miller¹s 100th career Trans-Am starts.

NOTE 1 ­ MIAMI STATSŠMiller qualified fourth and finished eighth, having
lost power steering, pitting to replace a water pump belt, and being caught
up in a late race melee.

NOTE 2 ­ BACKGROUND STATSŠRanks second in the points standingsŠHas one win
(Lime Rock) and eight podium finishes this seasonŠHas two wins, 39 top-five
finishes, 66 top-ten finishes, and four poles in 99 startsŠMade his Winston
Cup debut in Infineon Raceway, finishing 24thŠRaced in the Watkins Glen Cup
race, finishing 36th.

On his afternoon practice sessionŠ ³We were pretty quick early on.  The car
was pushing.  We wanted to get some grip so we came in and put on sticker
tires.  It took us a few laps to get them up to temperature, but by then,
the red flag came out, and we were done for session. We shot ourselves in
the foot, so to speak.  It was a little frustrating.²
