Action Performance Finalizes Acquisition of Funline Merchandise Co.

PHOENIX--Sept. 26, 2003--Action Performance Companies, Inc. announced today that it has completed its acquisition of Funline Merchandise Co., Inc., manufacturer of the Muscle Machines(TM), Jesse James WEST COAST CHOPPERS(TM), and other popular die-cast collectible vehicles.

The transaction was completed on the terms previously disclosed.
