Busch wins Pole at Talladega, plus starting grid
KYLE BUSCH WINS OLD MILWAUKEE POLE AT TALLADEGA
TALLADEGA AL (9-25-03) Kyle Busch wasn't quickest in ARCA RE/MAX Series practice, but he made up for it in qualifying. Busch, in the Ditech.com Chevrolet, won the Old Milwaukee Pole Thursday for the Food World 300 at Talladega Superspeedway. Busch was first out and posted a speed of 184.455 mph to earn his third career series pole.
Saturday's ARCA RE/MAX Series Food World 300 at Talladega Superspeedway is scheduled to get underway at 1 pm eastern time. The race will air on SPEED Channel same night at 1 am eastern and re-air Sunday afternoon, Sept., 28 at 4 pm eastern.

Paul Menard was actually a quick ticker than Busch however his time was disallowed because his rear quarter panel failed to meet a minimum height requirement in post-qualifying inspection.
Former Talladega winner Bobby Gerhart qualified for outside pole with a speed of 184.356 mph in the Core Mechanical-AT Construction-UDS Pontiac.
David Stremme, making his career first series start, qualified third in Chip Ganassi's Coors Light Dodge.
AJ Henriksen was the fastest Ford of the bunch and qualified fourth in the Fastenal-Engineered Components Ford at 183.977. Billy Venturini, in the Alabama Auto Show Pontiac, was fifth fastest at 183.515.
