EFans.com Offers Race Fans an Insider's Pass to Auto Racing; Organization Brings Fans Together for Direct Race Team Sponsorship

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 23 -- Now entering the winner's circle, the #75 car, sponsored by ... you. That's the revolutionary vision of EFans.com, a new breed of fan club created to give avid race fans the chance to directly sponsor race teams. EFans.com founder Jack Wissman hopes to bring together enough of auto racing's powerful fan base to sponsor teams in as many as five series during the 2004 season and beyond.

"Hard-core racing enthusiasts, and there are about 40 million of us, have always identified strongly with the race experience," said Wissman. "However, until now, there has not been an avenue to gain access to the inner circle -- the team. Corporate sponsors have that access. EFans.com brings it to the individual."

The organization recently launched its website www.efans.com, which is attracting a fan base through exclusive membership benefits. An annual membership fee of $99 includes:

  * Access to EFans-sponsored teams
  * Opportunity to participate at select VIP trackside events
  * Discounts on racing apparel and other racing merchandise
  * Eligibility to win free tickets and other valuable merchandise

To further reward its members, EFans.com has partnered with NestEggz (owned by Vesdia Corporation) for a savings and reward program, which offers members a way to recoup their nominal annual membership fee. Through the program, club members have access to hundreds of leading retailers -- from popular restaurants, to electronic super stores, to top-name retailers and beyond. Participating companies provide cash back savings ranging from 2 to 20% on everyday purchases.

"The inclusion of the EFans/NestEggz reward program gives our members an immediate return on investment," said Wissman. "We are aware that this is a brand new approach to the fan's role in racing, and we need to take a slow and steady approach. However, if this performs to our expectations you'll likely see a whole host of fan-based sponsorship clubs in the near future."

EFans.com is currently laying the groundwork for the 2004 racing season with some careful sponsorships and marketing to its core fan base -- the top 1% of auto racing enthusiasts. Once membership goals have been met, the organization plans to close the club to new members and focus its time, energy, and resources on members and club-sponsored teams.
