Chrysler Group and Key Minority Suppliers from Metro Detroit To Host Media Roundtable at 'Matchmaker' Program, September 25
WHAT: Chrysler Group and select minority suppliers will host a media roundtable at the upcoming "Matchmaker" event to discuss growth opportunities for minority suppliers in today's competitive automotive environment. Chrysler Group's "Matchmaker" program, which was established in 2000, pairs minority suppliers with Tier One suppliers to encourage the development of long-term business relationships between the two companies. More than 2,000 attendees from the supplier community are expected. Since 2000, more than $110 million in new business has been generated between "matched" companies, with local Detroit suppliers garnering new business totaling $40 million.
