'Stay Clear Of Deer All Year' Michigan Deer Crash Coalition News Conference Kicks Off Annual Campaign

A statewide public education campaign to help combat car-deer crashes will be unveiled at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday (Sept. 24) in Lansing.

Members of the Michigan Deer Crash Coalition will detail the $130 million car-deer crash problem and announce car-deer crash statistics and deer herd size, a new public service campaign that includes television PSAs, updated educational brochure and a dedicated website. The conference takes place on the east steps of the Capitol Building in Lansing (or the ground floor Rotunda in the event of rain).
