JVC Releases a Series of New In-dash Car Audio Systems
Tokyo (JCNN) - JVC has released a series of new in-dash car audio systems. The new releases, to hit the market in mid-April and early November, include the KD-SH919, an CD player compatible with WMA and MP3 audio files, the KW-MC34, a MD/CD player priced at 47,000 yen ($405), the KW-TC300, a CD/cassette player (open-priced), the KD-C212, a CD-R/RW player priced at 19,000 yen ($164), and the KD-S509, a CD-R player (open-priced).
The WMA and MP3-compatible in-dash (1DIN) system features 3-D Drive technology to enable users to display their original images on its screen. It also comes with 24bit DAC to deliver high-quality sound.
The price is 55,000 yen ($474). The company will produce 1,000 units each of the KD-SH919 and KW-TC300, 2,000 units each of the KW-MC34 and KD-C212, and 3,000 units of the KD-S509, per month.
