BMW WilliamsF1 Team-Gene replaces Schumacher

MARC GEN_ TO REPLACE RALF SCHUMACHER AT MONZA

Monza (ITA). Ralf Schumacher will not take part in this weekendıs Italian
Grand Prix at Monza for the BMW WilliamsF1 Team.

After driving in Fridayıs Free Practice and First Qualifying sessions, Ralf
didnıt feel 100% fit and together with the team and the FIA medical
delegate, Sid Watkins, decided not to continue his on track duties.

Ralf had a significant crash whilst testing at the Autodromo di Monza on
September 02, and will now rest for a few days more to recuperate completely
in order to return to the cockpit for the US Grand Prix in Indianapolis, in
two weeks time.

The teamıs test and reserve driver Marc Gené (ESP) will take Ralfıs place in
the WilliamsF1 BMW FW25 for the rest of the weekend.
