Ziebart Celebrates Grand Opening of Monroe Superstore
MONROE, Mich., Sept. 12 -- Ziebart, an automotive retailer focused on enhancing and maintaining vehicle appearance, celebrated the grand opening of its new Superstore in Monroe during two days of festivities.
Monroe Mayor Al Cappuccilli welcomed the Superstore owner, Terry Pantall, and John Lynch, COO Ziebart, into the community at a ribbon cutting ceremony today. During the event, Terry Pantall presented the Humane Society of Monroe with a donation of $500 and a voucher for free detailing of their van to show his dedication to becoming an active member of the community.
"We are excited to show the Monroe community how important they are to Ziebart with today's festivities," states Terry Pantall, Ziebart's Monroe Superstore owner. "The same high standards of community involvement and customer service that were demonstrated today will continue daily for our Monroe customers."
"On behalf of the City Council, staff and the citizens of the City of Monroe, I wish to extend our very best wishes to the Ziebart Company as we welcome them to our city. And to say how pleased we are to have them as a corporate citizen in Monroe," said Monroe Mayor Al Cappuccilli. "Your inclusion in the business community will add to the vibrancy of our city."
Monroe residents are invited to join the festivities on Saturday, September 13, with the opportunity to take photos by Jeff Gordon's racecar, listen to a live radio broadcast by Tower 98 and enjoy free food, all while shopping for their automotive appearance needs. The Humane Society of Monroe will return to the Superstore for residents of Monroe to meet one of their animals for adoption.
"This donation is a great help to the Humane Society of Monroe," said Janet O'Brien, executive director of the Humane Society of Monroe. "With Ziebart's generosity, we will be able to buy necessary supplies such as dog and cat food, kitty litter, blankets and cleaning supplies, as well as help maintain our van that is vital to transporting our animals."
