Cascade Corporation Signs Preliminary Agreement to Acquire Roncari S.r.l.

PORTLAND, Ore.--Sept. 11, 2003--Cascade Corporation announced today it has signed a preliminary agreement to acquire all outstanding shares of privately held Roncari S.r.l., a leading supplier of materials handling equipment to the Italian lift truck market. Roncari is located in Vago Di Lavagno, Italy. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
