Auto-Q Trials FleetTrak With a Major UK Local Government to Protect Vehicles And Minimize Claims

LONDON, Sept. 11 -- Auto-Q International Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: AUTQ) , a leading provider of vehicle tracking and monitoring systems for trucking fleets and consumers, announced today further development of its business to local governments.

A leading Borough Council in the UK has turned to Auto-Q's FleetTrak vehicle monitoring system to protect itself against dubious claims and complaints of poor service.

The council decided earlier this year to install vehicle tracking in its maintenance vehicles because of increasing claims and complaints about non- attendance, poor timekeeping and damage. It also wanted to tighten up fleet management to ensure vehicles were being operated correctly.

The council is currently conducting a long term trial over a cross section of it's vehicle fleet.

FleetTrak was chosen for the trial because it offers a comprehensive package at a competitive price.

As the trial develops the council is finding more applications for FleetTrak. It's being used for street cleaners, to ensure gulley emptiers complete their rounds correctly and that trash collection occurs on time. The trial should be completed within a month following which Auto-Q hopes to rollout FleetTrak to most of the council's 300 vehicles.
