TManage Expands Managed Remote Access Service to 100% Nationwide Coverage with Addition of Hughes Network Systems' Satellite Services

AUSTIN, Texas--Sept. 10, 2003--

DIRECWAY(R) Service Provides Two-Way, High-Speed, Satellite Broadband Connectivity for Home Office and Branch Office Locations

TManage Inc. (www.tmanage.com), a leading provider of managed access, VPN and security services, today announced it has chosen Hughes Network Systems' broadband satellite access service, DIRECWAY(R), to include in TManage's existing remote access product portfolio. With this addition, TManage now provides 100% availability of broadband services for enterprises to securely connect remote users and locations to central corporate resources and the Internet.

Companies are increasingly deploying broadband access solutions for their home workers and remote business locations in order to reduce access costs, increase worker productivity and improve customer satisfaction through the use of targeted business applications. Examples include the large scale adoption of broadband for connecting mobile and home office workers to central corporate resources, as well as the migration from dial-up lines and low-speed frame relay lines to broadband services for connecting remote offices and stores. DIRECWAY provides another option for TManage to economically design, deploy and manage efficient, secure remote networking solutions for enterprise customers.

"We view TManage as a critical component for expanding DIRECWAY into many enterprise customers that require broadband access," said Emil Regard, vice president of North American Channel Sales & Marketing at Hughes Network Systems. "HNS is pleased to have TManage as a channel partner, giving them the ability to offer their customers cost-effective, high-performance broadband coverage anywhere the customer is located.

Hughes' satellite service will augment TManage's current line-up of DSL, Cable, and ISDN broadband services. TManage remote networking solutions include single point design, deployment and management, including orchestration of every detail in the provisioning, installation and support phases of a program. Leveraging extensive industry expertise and partnerships with leading technology providers, TManage solutions are targeted to mobile office, home office, branch office and central corporate locations.

"TManage is always looking for ways to add value to our customers' remote access programs. With the addition of Hughes Network Systems' high-speed satellite service to our managed access product portfolio, we have done just that," said John Moshier, vice president of customer solutions at TManage. "Customers can now enjoy cost-effective, broadband access in 100% of their locations, with TManage designing, deploying and managing programs in such a way as to leverage the most appropriate access service for each of their sites."
