TNT Logistics North America Wins Two of the Automobile Industry's Top Honors; Chrysler Gold Award and Ford Q1
JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--Sept. 9, 2003--Continuing its excellence in automotive logistics, TNT Logistics North America has won two of the automotive industry's top honors in 2002, Chrysler's Gold Award and Ford's Q1 Award.The coveted Chrysler Gold Award is presented to logistics companies whose outstanding overall performance is among the highest rated by Daimler Chrysler. This is the second straight year TNT Logistics North America has earned the Award. In addition to the Gold Award, TNT Logistics North America has earned DaimlerChrysler's Pentastar in 1990 and 1991, as well as DaimlerChrysler's Gold Pentastar Award in 1993 and 1997.
Following its winning the Gold Award, TNT Logistics North America's Jacksonville, Florida operation of Ford's truckload business won that company's Q1 Award, the highest honor for Ford preferred suppliers. The Q1 Award recognizes suppliers that have achieved a sustained level of excellence in customer satisfaction, while meeting systems and results requirements in Quality, Delivery, and Management. In addition, suppliers must have endorsements from Ford's key customers and meet Ford-defined performance metrics.
