INCAT Will Sponsor 'Supplier Compliance Conference 2003'
Midwest event will give automotive suppliers critical OEM compliance information
NOVI, Mich., Sept. 8 -- INCAT will sponsor and host "Supplier Compliance Conference 2003" for automotive industry suppliers on Tuesday, September 23 near its North American headquarters in Novi, Mich. The event, subtitled "Learn to comply with OEM standards and secure your future business," will detail OEM supplier technology standards and requirements, and will offer suppliers guidance in meeting those standards and requirements.
In addition, the conference will offer an overview of the state of the automotive manufacturing and supplier communities, an inside look at supplier relations from an automotive OEM perspective and a presentation on OEM interoperability as it relates to supplier operations.
INCAT President Warren Harris will give attendees a look at the current state of the automotive supplier industry.
"Today's automotive supplier organizations are facing unprecedented challenges by automotive OEMs," Harris said. "Suppliers must not only provide critical components and services, but they must provide these components and services within strict parameters established by the OEMs. This conference will allow suppliers to refocus on their core business and alleviate the anxiety and confusion regarding compliance."
DaimlerChrysler Manager of Supplier Integration will keynote
Special guest speaker, Robert MacKool, DaimlerChrysler Manager - Supplier Integration, will give attendees an inside look at compliance and supplier relations from an OEM perspective.
Jeff Nedwick, INCAT Manager - Automotive Practices, will discuss OEM interoperability and how the various facets impact supplier organizations. Nedwick will detail how INCAT is uniquely positioned in the industry to support interoperability.
Supplier Compliance Conference 2003 also will feature special individual presentations with specific technological information for DaimlerChrysler, GM, Ford and Nissan suppliers, as well as a presentation on ANX/INCAT services for suppliers.
