BMW Struts its Stuff on Catwalk at Frankfurt Motor Show With Unprecedented
Number of New High-Performance Vehicles Making Their Debut

BMW Group, the high-performance automotive manufacturer with a world-wide reputation for precision engineering and bold, state-of-the-art design is unveiling four new models at the Frankfurt Motor Show September 9 - 21.

At an opening press event Tuesday, September 9th, from 8:30 - 9:00 am Frankfurt time, with direct satellite feed capabilities, four sleek newcomers will taxi down a dramatic runway and take their place in the BMW family of Ultimate Driving Machines.

Dr. Helmut Panke, Chairman BMW AG will open the press event with a brief overview of BMW's global strategy, and will then moderate the runway debut of BMW's most fashionable new models.

The four cars making their debut in Frankfurt include:

The BMW X3 -- This mid-size Sports Activity Vehicle was designed for the
active, outdoors set, and is well priced for a younger BMW customer. It
combines the agility of a BMW 3 Series with the supreme, all terrain
driving experience of the X5. Brand-new and absolutely unique, it can
fit three mountain bikes inside, and features the new xDrive
   all-wheel-drive system.

The BMW 6 Series -- Rebirth of an icon after a 15-year hiatus. Elegant
and dynamic, the BMW 645 Ci sets a new benchmark in the luxury sports
coupe market. It features sporting driving characteristics and generous
space inside, making it a dream car of the highest standard.

The BMW 5 Series -- The newest additions to the fifth-generation 5 Series
maintain its reputation as the undisputed leader among midsize sports
sedans and wagons. BMW is enlarging the range through the introduction
of the 545i featuring a V8 VALVETRONIC engine and the world debut of
   Active Steering.

The BMW X5 -- Thoroughly upgraded, the athletic X5 has a wide range of
both technical innovations and design updates including the new,
intelligent xDrive all-wheel drive system, new and even more powerful
engines, and new design elements. Still the perfect vehicle for the
sporting driver seeking to combine the magnificent handling and driving
dynamics of a BMW with the commanding driving position and a wide range
   of driving possibilities.
