INDIANAPOLIS--Sept. 4, 2003--From September 23rd to 25th, the International Construction and Utility Equipment Exposition (ICUEE) will be held in Louisville, Kentucky. The event will take place in the Kentucky Fair & Expo Center and will feature over 800 manufacturers of construction and utility equipment. On Tuesday, September 23rd and Wednesday, September 24th, the show runs from 9am to 4pm, and on Thursday, the 25th from 9am to 3pm.Industry leader for over seventy years in All-Wheel Drive technology, Marmon-Herrington, will showcase their vehicles at ICUEE outside in booth L335. The exhibit will feature some of their most recent innovations and will be a chance for interested customers to receive more information and brochures, as well as a chance to talk one-on-one with Marmon-Herrington associates. According to Tyler Bean, General Manager of Marmon-Herrington, "ICUEE continues to be a great opportunity for us to showcase the many products and innovations we have, from All-Wheel Drive to Low Floor."
The vehicle Marmon-Herrington plans to unveil at ICUEE is expected to be one of the show's head-turners. The Sterling 4x4 is a prototype Marmon-Herrington developed for the Canadian Forces. It comes equipped with all of the Marmon-Herrington bells and whistles. The vehicle has both front and rear Marmon-Herrington axles with an available Central Tire Inflation System (CTIS). This system lowers air pressure in the vehicle's tires for better traction and also produces a wider footprint to keep it from sinking in soft terrain, like sand. The prototype also features a new innovation from Marmon-Herrington known as Automatic Drive-Train Management (or ADM) With ADM, microprocessors strategically placed in the vehicle know when to activate the vehicle's all-wheel drive system and also when to prevent it from becoming activated. This new ADM system, keeps the vehicle's operator safe, while also protecting the vehicle from unnecessary wear and tear. Again stop by booth L335 to check out this innovation you won't want to miss.
