GM Announces Sept Marketing Program
DETROIT September 3, 2003; Dow Jones reported that General Motors Corp. , following an announcement of a fall incentive program by DaimlerChrysler AG's (DCX) Chrysler group, unveiled its own marketing initiative that extends current incentive programs and enhances current incentives.
In a press release Wednesday, GM said it is carrying over most of its current customer cash and APR finance rates for qualified buyers of 2003 GM vehicles until Jan. 2.
The auto maker is enhancing its competitive customer cash rebates and attractive APR finance rates for qualified buyers on most 2004 vehicles. These offers run from Sept. 3 through Sept. 30.
In addition, a $500 bonus cash is being offered on 2003 and 2004 full-size pickups, the Chevrolet Avalanche and TrailBlazer EXT and the GMC Envoy XL. Bonus cash also is available on most 2003 full-size sport utility vehicles. The bonus cash offer is available from Sept. 3 through Sept. 30.
HUMMER is excluded from these programs.
"Our September program will help us close out the 2003 model year strong, help GM maintain its strong retail performance through the balance of the year and position us well for 2004," GM said.
