Icy Splash Food and Beverage, Inc. Announces NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Sponsorship
NEW YORK, Sept. 2 -- Icy Splash Food & Beverage, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: IFBV) , a manufacturer and distributor of beverage and food products in the rapidly growing alternative beverage market, reports NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Sponsorship.
Icy Splash Food and Beverage, Inc. will sponsor the No. 55 Powers Motorsports Dodge Ram Truck driven by Tom Powers, beginning this week. The Team will be racing on September 13th at the New Hampshire 200 in Loudon, New Hampshire. Team marketing representatives for Powers Motorsports and Icy Splash Food and Beverage, Inc. are happy to announce an association with Powers Motorsports for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The team will carry the Icy Splash's logo on its truck for the remainder of the 2003 season.
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is one of the fastest growing series in all of motorsports. This series competes in 25 events and races in 16 different states. In 2002, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series recorded an average of 544,000 household viewers per event. In addition, the Series experienced attendance of over one million fans in 2002. In 2003, all NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series events will be broadcast live on SpeedChannel, which is seen in nearly 54 million homes and growing. SpeedChannel is the 5th fastest growing network in cable television. Anticipated subscriber growth by 2003 was nearly 60 million homes. In addition to offering more live event coverage, more exposure will be generated for the series through new programming including pre- and post-race shows, taped replays and ancillary programming. Moreover, expanded cross promotion across all the FOX networks is expected to raise the profile of the Craftsman Truck Series and be a significant catalyst for future growth by attracting additional fans and corporate sponsors.
